Weare A. Zwemer, Ph.D.

Dr. Zwemer has been practicing as a licensed clinical psychologist in Virginia since 1989.  Originally trained as a clinical child psychologist, he has provided individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.  In recent years, he has focused on forensic assessment and has presented to legal and clinical audiences on ethics at the interface of mental health and the law.


Donna Collier, Ph.D.

Dr. Collier is a school psychologist, licensed through the Virginia Department of Education. She has served as a school psychologist for over 34 years and has been practicing with Psychological Services of Chesapeake since 2004. Dr. Collier conducts comprehensive psychological/educational evaluations which include cognitive, educational and behavioral assessments. She is knowledgeable of the procedures for Special Education Eligibility and 504 Eligibility. In addition to formal assessments, Dr. Collier is available for consultation with parents to assist them in advocating for their children as they navigate through the public or private educational systems.
